She led the center’s online bookstore launch, helped in organizing a statewide student essay contest, started the center’s weekly blog, and is now organizing a virtual teachers’ professional development seminar with her colleagues.
Her duties at the center also include proofreading 18th century newspapers and manuscripts, assisting with research, writing annotations for publications, and creating research tools relevant to the study of the American Constitution.
Oindrila is passionate about exploring the intersections of environment, public health, and societal perceptions about health and environmental risk. Currently, she is a graduate student at the La Follette School of Public Affairs where she plans to pursue applied research with the goal of making an impact on policy-making in the fields of environmental governance and public health.
In her free time, she enjoys painting, crocheting, tending to her plants, doing yoga, and swimming (when it is not freezing).
